Angels And Demons
AS ABOVE – SO BELOW
The energetics of the upper and lower realms can be defined as angels and demons. It's said that we have a false god and that our true God is outside of this realm. To worship the light, is to worship Lucifer, the light bringer. Venus or 'the star of the morning' and Saturn AKA Satan or Set, is the dark lord of the underworld.
The two polarities or good and evil can be defined as polar energetics. One heats and the other cools. The extremes of each are not sustainable for life, but the two are mutually working to sustain it. Within these two 'realms' or in the same frequency regions, can be found the 72 angelic degrees (also the Hebrew 72 Shemhamphorasch Angels), and we can find the 72 lesser Key of Solomon entities named.
The Tree of Life
The Kaballah tree of life, which is based off what is believed to be pre-judaic mysticism and relates to the planets, their energetics and effects on human psyche. The two paths represents the male and female of the body, with the left side of man representing the right path (as if the tree is man facing us). The Chokma arm represents the positive male principle, with Binah representing the female.
The planets in their different aspects, much like the Tarot cards can represent the opposites when dealt in reverse, can provide different energetics – as also the waxing/waning, full/no moon phases can bring different energies to the individual. Perhaps the planets approaching in their positive aspect, when they correlate with our star signs, can be said to be positive in the tree of life – and when they are in retrograde (going away from us in the negative aspect), perhaps are expressing the lower Qlippoth energies from the lower realms (See Qlippoth tree below – which would be upside down for the mirror inverted alignment to shadow psyche).
There are 72 angels (or names of God) featured in the upper tree for life, with archangels under them, which correspond to the light in the sky at different times of the day and even days of the week,
The Tree of Death
The reverse or inverted Qlippoth tree (imagine the hidden underground roots of a tree), is represented by the demons and arch-demons who govern the underworld. These entities, of which Aleister Crowley famously attempted to conquer (and allegedly became possessed by), have characteristics that are deceitful and potentially bring out the worst in us – but it's claimed, can reveal great knowledge. The dark occultists are said to practice Ego-destroying blood rituals, where they enter a hypnotic state for accessing the shadow realms. Sorcerers of the South American Yaqui culture, also use 'Devil Weed' and Peyote to bring about near-death experiences – as the author and sage Carlos Castaneda revealed in his books. Some who use DMT, LSD and Stevia, have also experienced hellish connections to lower entities and feelings of eternal detachment or damnation – also known as 'Ego death'.
Of the various methods for contacting the lower demonic guardians, one is known as the Formula of the Cup of Babalon. Shadow Tarot cards or practices around the moon phases – from the sacred feminine rictuals, also is said to bring results. The sigils below are from Crowley's Liber XXII and form part of the Kenneth Grant's Nightshade of Eden book and can be explained by this other occult traveller for how to enter the Tunnels of Set. More lists of the demons from the Ars Goethia can be found online, including some pictures of what these entities are supposed to look like.
Other arch-angels are said to emanate from the sun's light and can be said to be contacting us via angel numbers appearing throughout our day.
